Chamber Member’s  Spotlight

Heritage Woods of Flora opened its doors in May 2000 and is the first affordable assisted living community to be developed by BMA Management, Ltd. through the State of Illinois’ Supportive Living program.  Located on W. 4th Street in Flora, Heritage Woods is the only affordable assisted lifestyle community in Clay County, Illinois.

Designed to serve adults 65 and older of all incomes, Heritage Woods especially benefits those who do not have the financial resources to afford private pay assisted living and offers a wonderful alternative to nursing home care or struggling alone at home.

Working under the direction of the community’s registered nurse, certified nurse’s assistants are on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide the personal care and assistance residents need.  At our community, you’ll find the CNAs and all staff are courteous and friendly.

At Heritage Woods of Flora residents enjoy a full calendar of social activities and events including giving back to the community through fundraisers to organizations like Clay County Animal Rescue & Shelter, Golden Circle Nutrition, and Bright-R Future.  We want to include the community in what we do and invite families and other seniors in the community to join us any time.  You’ll find our community calendar of events in local papers, on WNOI radio, and on the scrolling screen of Flora’s Cable TV channel.  Also, check out our Facebook page, Heritage Woods of Flora, to see our complete monthly calendars and keep up with the active lifestyle at our community.  You might even see a face you recognize.

Thank you Flora and Clay County for your tremendous support over the last 15 years!  We appreciate you!
